An Essential Introduction to the Creative Cloud Environment
Our Creative Cloud Essentials course provides an introductory overview of Adobe's Creative Cloud suite of desktop publishng software applications. It takes a pragmatic approach to the platform, explaining the basics of what a selection of the major CC applications do, how they integrate with one another and what their place, role and function might be within your overall design workflow.
During the course we take students on a journey through two short design lifecycles which gives them a bite-sized introduction to some of the more common software packages and workflows within Adobe's subscription platform.
This beginners course is ideal for those who need to understand the basic concepts of bringing photos, illustrations and text together in a digital or print publication, or for combining photography, artwork, audio and video footage into a broadcast, animation or even an Online tutorial.
Our Adobe Essentials course consists of two days. On Day One we walk you through a print publication lifecycle taking in PhotoShop, Illustrator, Indesign and Adobe Acrobat along the way. Day Two is all about multimedia and video and here we will work through a short broadcast publication process incorporating Premiere Pro, After Effects and Adobe Animate.
Email us or call 0844 493 3699 to find out more.
We don't tackle any particular software application in depth. For that, your learners will need to take one of our dedicated Adobe courses which focus exclusively upon mastering individual desktop publishing packages.
The aim of the course is rather to introduce the Creative Cloud environment and to promote an understanding and appreciation of the wider Creative Cloud suite and its capabilities and potential across a range of design and creative fields.
Depending upon your desktop publishing needs you could choose to opt for just one of the two days or both of them and for the truly adventurous, we can even tailor a design workflow for you which incorporates other applications such as Captivate and Adobe Audition.
Creative Cloud Essentials Training Course Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites for attending this Adobe Essentials course; although all of your learners should have access to their own copy of Creative Cloud either through a subsription license or at least via a free trial copy. Learners should, however, be familiar and comfortable with either a Windows or Mac environment and have an understanding of how to manage files and folders.

What is the difference between Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Creative Suite?
Adobe Creative Cloud is Adobe's platform of Cloud-based creative design and desk-top publishing applications and tools (such as PhotoShop, Indesign and Illustrator and so forth) which is licensed as a subscription-based service either for individual CC products, or for the whole of the Creative Cloud suite.
Adobe Creative Suite is Adobe's legacy 'On-Premise' suite of creative design and desktop publishing applications and tools (such as PhotoShop, Indesign and Illustrator and so forth) which is licensed with a traditional EULA (End User License Agreement) whereby the software is physically installed on your device both for individual Creative Suite products or the whole suite of software applications.
All of our closed course Adobe training programmes can be delivered on either Creative Cloud (CC) or Creative Suite (CS).
