Our Microsoft 365 Information Protection and Compliance training course is a one-day, hands-on workshop intended to teach Microsoft 365 tenant administrators how to secure their data against misuse and data loss. On this course you will learn how to implement, configure and manage the suite of information protection and retention technologies available for Microsoft 365. With our modular, instructor-led task-based approach, learners will become familiar with, and gain a fundamental understanding of, the security tools available for information protection and security within the Microsoft 365 platform.
This Microsoft 365 course is comprised of 25% theory, 25% demonstration and 50% hands-on practical work.
Microsoft 365 Information Protection and Compliance Learning Outcomes
By the end of this training course you will:
- Be familiar with navigating around the pages required to configure your compliance in Microsoft 365
- Have an understanding of the options available and the decisions that you need to make in order to configure the Microsoft 365 security and compliance features covered during this course
- Be able to configure the Microsoft 365 Information Protection features that are covered during this course
Who should attend the Microsoft 365 Information Protection and Compliance Course?
The intended audience for this Microsoft 365 Information Protection and Compliance course is learners that are responsible for the administration of Microsoft 365 compliance features. The course is also suitable for learners who are Microsoft 365 administrators and those in the early stages of adopting Microsoft 365 and that need to get to grips with compliance and governance considerations.
The course is not intended for Microsoft 365 end users or learners who have no experience of working with Microsoft 365.

Microsoft 365 Information Protection Course Cost
This one-day Microsoft 365 Information Protection course is charged out at £925.00 plus VAT per day (inclusive up to 6 delegates), with a further £125.00 per day to cover trainer travel and accommodation within mainland UK. Additional learners can be added at £50.00 plus VAT per person per day up to a maximum of 10 people.

In order to attend this course, you will need the following:
- The Microsoft Teams desktop app installed to join the course (Virtual classroom courses only)
- A Microsoft E5 tenant created at demos.microsoft.com (instructions will be provided prior to the course). All Microsoft partners should have access to the CDX platform.
