Live Virtual Classroom Training with MS Teams

MS Teams Attending a virtual classroom training course via a Microsoft Teams Live Event is now one of the most popular ways of delivering training for a wide range of learning needs across Microsoft and Adobe products and beyond. All your learners need is a laptop or PC with a camera and microphone and we will send the link for everyone to join the training which will allow them to access the event via the Microsoft Teams App or they can access it via the web.

Delivering live instructor-led training via Microsoft Teams is very effective as it offers the feel of face-to-face training with live interaction between the trainer and delegates. We have found that delegates can learn just as well via this method as they do with conventional on-site training, plus it works out more cost-effective because the trainer no longer needs to travel to you. Recieving your Microsoft Teams Invites

We will need the email addresses of everyone attending your course so that we can send out your Teams invites.
Please ensure that all learners are aware that the Teams invites will arrive both in their Outlook inbox and in their calendars.
If anyone is struggling to find their Teams invite, then please ask them to check their spam. Contact us if you still can't find the invite and we will re-send.
On some ocassions we may instead send a meeting link which can be distributed by the person booking the course.

Tips to Ensure your Virtual Classroom Training goes Smoothly on the Day.

During the training, please ensure that all of your learners have their cameras switched on. Our live virtual classroom courses are fully hands on and interactive and the trainer needs to be able to see everyone. This will help ensure a higher level of engagement and can be important for better learning outcomes.
Ideally, learners should know how to use Chat, Private Chat and understand how to share screens and documents via Teams. We can help with this during the course if needed.

If your learners are new to Microsoft Teams then we recommend running a test meeting internally before the day of your course.

Do you Record your Live Virtual Classroom Courses?

In our experience recording live virtual classroom courses delivered via Microsoft Teams is not necessarily a good idea. The problems you might encounter include recordings failing due to Microsoft making updates to Teams and also bandwidth issues caused by streaming live courses and recording at the same time. As such, and in order to ensure the best possible learning experience for your students (and without any unnecessary disruptions) our instructors do not record our live virtual classroom courses.
