This intensive two-day Advanced User Microsoft 365 training course provides you with the in-depth knowledge needed to start working proficiently within the Microsoft 365 environment and includes advanced user topics for Sway, Delve, Microsoft Forms, Microsoft 365 Business Plan Apps, Microsoft Outlook on the Web (formerly the Outlook Web App), SharePoint, Microsoft Viva, Skype for Business, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive for Business and Microsoft 365 security.

Our Microsoft 365 Advanced User training courses is available either delivered on-site at your organisation's workplace whereby the trainer comes to you, or as a live virtual classroom training events.

With the constantly evolving landscape of the Microsoft 365 suite, course content may change.

The Advanced User Microsoft 365 course is also available as part of the extended four-day Microsoft 365 User course.


Advanced User Microsoft 365 Course Cost

Our two-day Advanced User Microsoft 365 course is charged out at £1,400.00 plus VAT (inclusive up to 6 delegates), with a further £125.00 per day to cover trainer travel and accommodation within mainland UK. Additional delegates can be added at £50.00 plus VAT per person per day.


What are the Microsoft 365 Advanced User Training Course Prerequisites?

No previous knowledge of Microsoft 365 is required to attend this advanced user course. Ideally, learners should be familiar with Windows 10, 11 or earlier and Microsoft Edge (or a recent version of Internet Explorer).

On-site Microsoft 365 Advanced User Training in the United Kingdom

These are corporate in-house training courses conducted at your workplace for small groups and are exceptional value and very popular. You will usually need to book at least one month in advance and the maximum number of learners is ten per course.

Our 'face-to-face' closed courses for Microsoft 365 are delivered as private courses for your delegates offering more flexibility than off-the-shelf public courses and topics taught can often be tailored to match your learning needs. One of our trainers will discuss your training requirements with you prior to the course.

Our trainers can attend anywhere in mainland UK (for overseas requirements, please enquire). On rare ocassions travel supplements may apply for Microsoft 365 training in Greater London to cover additional expenses such as congestion charges, but we will endeavour to waive these when possible.


Live Virtual Classroom Microsoft 365 Advanced User Training, UK & Beyond

If you have a group of staff that you would prefer to be tutored remotely rather than having a trainer come out to you then our small-group Microsoft 365 courses are also available Online as live virtual, interactive training sessions from the comfort of your own office or workplace. These live, instructor-led virtual courses are taught via Microsoft Teams.

Notes: Microsoft 365 Advanced User Terminology in Layman's Terms

1) Microsoft Lens (previously Office Lens) is a mobile App PDF scanner which can convert images to PDF, Word, Excel and PowerPoint files. It uses optical character recognition to digitise handwriting and print from Whiteboards and other media such as photos, documents and business cards.

2) From 2024, Microsoft Planner will integrate with Project for the Web and become part of a complete browser-based project management solution.

3) MileiQ is a mileage tracker app which can calculate your mileage for tax and deductions. It is available with Microsoft 365 Business Standard, Premium, E1, E3 and E5 plans.

4) Microsoft Bookings is an app for scheduling and managing meetings and appointments which integrates with Microsoft Outlook. It is available with a Microsoft 365 Business Premium plan.

5) Kaizala was discontinued in the autumn of 2023. It was a secure business messaging app with many similarities to WhatsApp. Microsoft now recommend using Teams instead.

6) A SharePoint Team Site is a site that is created by a team or a group of people that work together to accomplish specific tasks or goals. It is a collaborative space that provides your team with a central location to share content, work together and co-create.

A SharePoint Communication Site is a modern team site that you can use to communicate with your colleagues and teams and to collaborate with them on documents, spreadsheets, meeting schedules and so forth.

SharePoint Hub Sites are a type of SharePoint Site Collection that enable you to centralise access to related sites in order to make it easier for your users to discover information and collaborate with people.

7) When you Check-Out a document in Microsoft 365 you are essentially assuming the editorial rights to that document and when you Check-In a document you are relinquishing editorial control.
